As the curtains come down on CMANA's historic 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Festival, we are reminded that the true spirit of any CMANA event—and indeed any cultural celebration—is its Rasikas.

For three unforgettable days, artists, volunteers, patrons, donors, and rasikas came together to celebrate the rich traditions of Carnatic music, dance, and culture. The music may have faded, the applause may have ended, and the stage lights may have dimmed, but the memories created during this remarkable festival will remain with us forever.

Our photographers have beautifully captured countless moments of joy, devotion, excitement, friendship, nostalgia, and musical bliss experienced by everyone who attended. These photographs tell the story of a community united by a shared love for the arts and a celebration fifty years in the making.

🍽️☕🌟 A Tribute to Our Silent Warriors 🌟☕🍽️

As we look back on the extraordinary success of the CMANA 50th Anniversary Festival, we would like to pause and recognize a very special group of individuals whose contributions often happened behind the scenes but were absolutely essential to the festival's success.

Over the course of three unforgettable days, hundreds of attendees enjoyed hot meals, coffee, tea, snacks, and refreshments served seamlessly throughout the festival. What many may not have seen was the tireless effort of a dedicated team of volunteers who worked continuously from early morning until late evening to make it all happen.

These volunteers willingly sacrificed their opportunity to sit inside the auditorium and enjoy many of the world-class concerts, dance performances, lec-dems, and special presentations. Instead, they chose to serve. They stood behind serving counters, coordinated food logistics, replenished supplies, managed dining areas, greeted attendees with a smile, and ensured that every rasika, artist, volunteer, and guest was cared for.

While the performances illuminated the stage, these volunteers illuminated the spirit of service that has defined CMANA for five decades.

Their dedication exemplifies the timeless principle that great organizations are built not only by those in the spotlight, but also by those who work quietly and selflessly behind the scenes.

To every volunteer who helped prepare, serve, organize, clean, coordinate, and support our food service operations during the festival—we offer our deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation.

You are the true embodiment of CMANA's volunteer spirit and the reason why our 50th Anniversary celebration was such a memorable experience for everyone who attended.

🌺✨ VIDHAI – A Tribute to the Women Who Built CMANA ✨🌺

One of the most touching and meaningful presentations of CMANA's Golden Jubilee Festival was VIDHAI, a beautifully conceived dance production by Kiran James, dedicated to the countless women whose selfless service, sacrifice, and unwavering support have strengthened CMANA over the past five decades.

For 50 years, many women have worked quietly behind the scenes—as volunteers, organizers, supporters, patrons, spouses, mothers, and well-wishers—contributing their time, energy, and talents to ensure the success of CMANA's mission. Though often unseen, their efforts have been the foundation upon which CMANA has flourished.

Through expressive choreography and moving storytelling, VIDHAI paid homage to these extraordinary women and celebrated their invaluable role in CMANA's remarkable journey. The performance served as a heartfelt reminder that without their dedication and commitment, CMANA would not be the vibrant organization it is today.

🎶🌟 A Grand Finale to CMANA50 – Sudha Ragunathan in Concert 🌟🎶

As the curtains came down on CMANA's landmark 50th Anniversary Festival, rasikas were treated to a truly unforgettable grand finale concert by Padma Bhushan Sudha Ragunathan, the newly conferred 11th recipient of CMANA's prestigious SangeethaSaagara Award.

Following the award ceremony, Sudha Ragunathan enthralled the audience with a concert that exemplified the artistry, devotion, and musical excellence that have made her one of the most beloved figures in Carnatic music. It was a fitting culmination to three extraordinary days celebrating five decades of CMANA's service to Carnatic music and culture.

She was joined by an exceptional ensemble:

One of the most memorable and emotional moments of CMANA's Golden Jubilee Festival was the presentation of the prestigious SangeethaSaagara Award to Padma Bhushan Sudha Ragunathan, one of the most celebrated and beloved musicians in the world of Carnatic music.

Instituted by CMANA to recognize extraordinary excellence and lifetime contributions to Carnatic music, the SangeethaSaagara Award has been conferred upon only a select group of distinguished maestros. With this honor, Sudha Ragunathan becomes the 11th recipient of this prestigious award, joining an illustrious lineage of musical legends.

For CMANA, this recognition held special significance. From touring under CMANA early in her career to becoming one of the foremost ambassadors of Carnatic music worldwide, Sudha Ragunathan's journey embodies artistic excellence,

🎶🌺 A Soul-Stirring Musical Offering at CMANA50 🌺🎶

As part of CMANA's Golden Jubilee Festival, rasikas were treated to an uplifting and deeply moving concert by Sivasri Skandaprasad and Ensemble, whose presentation beautifully blended musical excellence, devotion, and tradition.

With her melodious voice, profound understanding of classical music, and spiritually charged presentation, Sivasri Skandaprasad captivated the audience and created an atmosphere of reverence and joy. The concert was a memorable highlight of CMANA50, showcasing the timeless beauty of India's rich musical heritage.

She was joined by an outstanding team of co-artistes: They led a group of Children in the Bridgewater Temple and we are thankful to the management of Bridgewater Temple Varadan for allowing this at a short notice within the Temple Praharam
