The way you talk to yourself matters. đź’™

We can be our own toughest critics, especially in law enforcement. Give yourself the same patience, understanding, and compassion you would offer a fellow officer.

You deserve that same kindness.

Some of the heaviest things we carry are the ones no one else can see.
You don’t have to carry it all alone. Sometimes, talking about what’s weighing on you is the first step toward feeling lighter.

10/11/2026

On NJ Law Enforcement Resiliency Day, we recognize the officers who face immense stress and trauma in service to our communities.

We also remember that our duty to protect those who protect us extends beyond today. No officer should ever have to face these challenges alone.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic loss of Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber, who was killed in the line of duty.

A 10-year veteran, husband, father, and brother in blue, Officer Seiber leaves behind a family and community whose lives will never be the same.

Cop2Cop extends our deepest condolences to his family, friends, fellow officers, and the entire Philadelphia Police Department. We continue to keep the second injured officer in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest easy, Officer Seiber. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🖤💙🖤

Some calls stay with you long after the shift ends.

Critical incidents can have a lasting impact, and no one should have to carry that weight alone.

Cop2Cop provides CISM debriefings to help law enforcement personnel process difficult experiences, support one another, and begin healing.

Your department doesn’t have to navigate it alone.

Sometimes the people who show the most compassion are the ones who know exactly what it feels like to hurt.

You never really know what someone has carried or what they may still be carrying.

Your mind is trained to anticipate what could go wrong. Sometimes it does the same thing when the shift is over.

If your mind can imagine the worst-case scenario, give the best-case scenario some space, too.

Not every “what if” has to end badly. 💙

Trauma can change you. Healing gives you the chance to decide what comes next. You don’t have to do it alone
