Promote the interests and aspirations of the Global Indian Diaspora and of specific groups residing in the countries of their adoption. Promote the common cultural heritage and thereby create a binding relationship. Mobilize the financial, intellectual, and professional resources of the Global Indian Diaspora for their mutual development and advancement. Encourage interaction between communities of Indians at a global level to deliberate and decide on common issues and problems such as education and technology. Further the interaction between the Indian Diaspora and other communities at the global level in order to promote world peace, progress, and ecological harmony.
