A few weeks ago, The Piqua Community Foundation Board of Directors, staff, and committee members came together to kick off planning for our 2027-2029 strategic plan.

The day was filled with energy, collaboration, and excitement for what's ahead for Piqua! ❤️💙 Together, we're asking important questions, dreaming boldly, and exploring how The Foundation can continue making a meaningful impact in our community for years to come!

Executive Director Kalette Hittle stopped by the Piqua Police Department today with some sweet treats on behalf of The Piqua Community Foundation to help celebrate National Police Week.🚓

We are so grateful for the courage, selflessness, and dedication these officers show every day as they serve and protect our community.

Over the years, The Foundation has been proud to support important initiatives for the department, including the Careful Corners program, Police in the Parks, and helping bring K-9 Pako to patrol.

We're honored to support the Piqua PD and invite our community to join us this week in thanking the officers who work every day to keep Piqua safe. 💙❤️

This event is always a crowd favorite! We’re happy to support the Hug the Earth Festival. 💚

While getting ready for tomorrow’s Hug the Earth Festival at Lost Creek Reserve, staff member Rachel spotted her first monarch of the season!

If you’d like to see butterflies up close, be sure to visit the butterfly house during the Hug the Earth Family Festival The fun runs from 12–5 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, with plenty of activities to enjoy—free of charge thanks to our generous sponsors. Be sure to show them some appreciation for helping make this incredible event possible!

We’re counting the days until our downtown is filled with Piqua residents enjoying warm summer nights, great music, and time together.

The 2026 Lock 9 Concert Series returns this summer with a full lineup of free, family-friendly performances at the Lock 9 Treviño Performance Pavilion.

Beginning May 29, enjoy live music along the Great Miami River where Lock 9 Park offers the perfect backdrop to relax, unwind and enjoy great music all season long.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and make plans to join us!
