Upper Valley Fun Fliers lost a good friend and long time club member, Jim Crowell at the age of 89. He passed away peacefully last night.
Jim loved his planes, both models and full size. He loved to sit and chat about his adventures in the service, in the air and on the road as a truck driver. If you were willing to listen he would be at the ready with one yarn or another.
He will most certainly be missed.
Please keep his daughter Mitzi and his son James and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Officials announced the Vectren Dayton Air Show will be cancelled for 2020, but will return with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds next year.

"Covid Fly-in 2020" 😁
Well the day started out rainy but we did have a couple hearty souls come out to fly...for that we are so very grateful and we hope they had a good day of flying at our field.
Not the usual type of fly-in but with all that is going on in the world it was what we expected. We were just happy to see someone come on out to enjoy the day!
Thank you guys and we hope to see you again someday!

Taking place July 6-10, AMA Jr. Camp is a free virtual experience that everyone can enjoy! In the morning, we provide youth, ages 5–12, with a fun and educational introduction to the concepts of aviation. ***ATTENTION MEMBERS***
Because of the Stay Safe Ohio order and a continued desire to protect our members, there will not be a club meeting Monday, May 4th. An email was sent out to club members to discuss said meeting and anything else that needed to be addressed. Please check your email and "reply to all" with any thoughts and concerns you may have.
We sure do hope everyone is well and staying safe during this trying time. Hope to see some of you out flying, just remember to adhere to social distancing rules when you are at the flying field.
