VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT 📣

Tonight we shine the light on Rick! 🔦🎉

Rick has been volunteering as a Care Guide at PCN for 14 years. He has also been a member of our board for thirteen years!

👮🏼‍♂️He is retired from the Piqua Police Department but currently serves as their Chaplain. His latest work has been in ministry with Surrender Life Fellowship.

Rick is married with four children and six grandchildren.

When asked what one of his favorite places in Piqua is, he said the bike trail🚴🏽‍♀️
His hobbies include spending time outdoors either fishing, hiking or playing tennis 🎾

The most rewarding part of volunteering for Rick is helping people in crisis and spreading the love of Jesus with them.

We are so grateful to have Rick at PCN and our community is a better place because of people like him 💙

PCN VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT 📣 📣 📣 📣 📣 📣 📣 📣
Today's spotlight is on our amazing volunteer, Lori!

Lori has been a volunteer with us since October of 2023. You will most likely find her at the front desk answering calls or decorating our office when the seasons change! (See attached pic🥰)

When she's not helping us at PCN, she's just down the alley taking care of the babies in the infant room at the YMCA childcare facility🤱🏽💗

Lori grew up in St. Paris and moved to Piqua when she was just ten years old. When she's not enjoying her family time with her husband, three kids and a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and two cats, she's enjoying a good meal at Three Joe's or staying active in her church at Piqua Baptist✝️

She recently attended a women's conference at the Arc in Williamstown, Kentucky where she listened to many different speakers.

When asked what the most rewarding part of volunteering at PCN meant to her, Lori said "feeling like I've helped people with their needs and trying to encourage them."

Thank you Lori.... for your time and dedication to our community 🙏🏽❤️
