πŸ“’ The Report is Now Available

The 1st Annual Pinon 4th of July Celebration Event Closeout Report & Financial Overview has officially been published and is now available for our community to review. The report highlights the purpose of the event, community impact, accomplishments, financial overview, lessons learned, and plans for future celebrations.

From the very beginning, our goal has been to lead with transparency, accountability, and community trust. This report provides a summary of the event's finances while recognizing the countless volunteers, sponsors, vendors, donors, and community partners who made the celebration possible. It also outlines how remaining funds will be responsibly managed to support future community events.

This celebration was organized, operated, and managed entirely by a volunteer community planning committee. While the Pinon Chapter supported the event through Building Maintenance Repair Funds for materials used to prepare the grounds, the event itself was independently managed, and all event-generated funds remain separate from Chapter accounts.

To everyone who volunteered their time, attended, sponsored, donated, or simply showed up to celebrate with us, thank you. Your support helped make the inaugural celebration a success and laid the foundation for many more years to come. Together, we're building a tradition that reflects the pride, culture, and unity of our community.

Thank you, Here's to an even bigger and better celebration next year.

πŸ’™β€οΈ Together, We Celebrated. Together, We Gave Back. β€οΈπŸ’™

One of the most meaningful moments from our 1st Annual Pinon 4th of July Song & Dance wasn't just the singing, dancing, and laughter, it was the opportunity to give back to our community.

Through our Cake Walk, Raffle, and Blanket Dance, we proudly raised $527.15, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Pinon Senior Center. The donation was presented to the Senior Center at the conclusion of the event.

Our elders are the heart of our community. They have carried our traditions, language, and values from one generation to the next. We hope this contribution helps support the continued services they provide and assists with purchasing additional cleaning supplies to better serve those who rely on the center.

To everyone who bought a raffle ticket, participated in the cake walk, contributed to the blanket dance, volunteered, or simply showed up to support this effort, thank you. Your generosity made this donation possible.

This is what community is all about: coming together, celebrating our culture, and taking care of one another.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping make the 1st Annual Pinon 4th of July Celebration a celebration with purpose. We look forward to continuing this tradition of giving back for many years to come.

❀️ We thank you.
🀍 We honor you.
πŸ’™ We appreciate you.

Congratulations to the winners of the 1st Annual Pinon 4th of July Parade! πŸŽ‰

The Pinon 4th of July Celebration Committee would like to extend our sincere congratulations to this year's parade winners:

πŸ₯‡1st Place: Miss Jeehdeeza 2025–2026, Hailey Begay
πŸ₯ˆ2nd Place: Pinon Community School Inc.
πŸ₯‰3rd Place: Miss Hopi 2025–2026, Kerissa Ben

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in this year's parade. Whether you entered a float, represented your organization, walked alongside family and friends, or came out to support the parade, you helped make our first annual celebration something truly special.

Seeing our community come together with so much pride, creativity, and enthusiasm was a reminder of what makes Pinon such a special place. Each entry reflected the heart of our community and helped bring this year's theme, "Back to the Old West: Where Tradition Lives," to life.

Thank you for sharing your time, your talents, and your community spirit with us. Congratulations again to our winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make the 1st Annual Pinon 4th of July Parade a memorable beginning to what we hope will become a cherished community tradition for years to come.
