🎒 Ready, Set, Learn! 📚

We are so excited to support the Back to School Bash at the Etta Jones Turner Pink Hill Public Library!

At Hopeful Harvest, our heart is all about caring for our neighbors and building a stronger, healthier community. We were fortunate to use our foundation funds to purchase and donate school supplies to help fill up backpacks for local students. For us, this is all about making sure our kids head to class feeling confident, supported, and ready to thrive.

We love growing and lifting up this community together! ❤️

Last Friday, we traveled to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina’s Wilmington branch for a day of service and learning.

We spent time volunteering in the kitchen with Chef Kenneth, helping prepare meals alongside our friend Rachel. Afterward, Cara Loeffert and Kathleen Hoolihan gave us a tour of the facility, including The Market on Greenfield, which provides neighbors experiencing food insecurity with access to nutritious food in a welcoming, dignified setting.

We left inspired by the Food Bank's incredible work and grateful for the opportunity to learn from an organization making a difference across eastern North Carolina. Experiences like this help us grow as we continue our mission to serve our communities. Thank you to everyone who welcomed us and shared their knowledge. We look forward to continuing to learn, build relationships and find new ways to serve our communities together.

Last week was one for the books! Josh presented his Agriscience Fair Project at the NC FFA State Convention in Raleigh. His research, inspired by his work with The Hopeful Harvest Foundation, took home 🥇 first place in his division! Josh will move on to presenting at the National Convention this fall in Indianapolis!

The Hopeful Harvest Foundation recently had the opportunity to visit the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, where we toured the facility with Amy Beros, President and CEO, and Mariah Murrell, Chief Community Impact Officer.

We left inspired by how their team connects farmers, partner agencies and volunteers to improve access to nutritious food, work that strongly aligns with our mission at Hopeful Harvest.
