Camp Leopold is the South Carolina Waterfowl Association's hands-on education program that connects K-12 students with science, wildlife, conservation, and the natural world through unforgettable experiences. Allow your students to experience Carolina Canopy with Camp Leopold!

There's a whole world waiting beneath the forest canopy! During this Camp Leopold activity, students hit the trails to discover how healthy forests support both wildlife and people. From identifying native tree species to learning how forests are managed for conservation, participants explored the important connections that keep our ecosystems thriving.

By stepping into the woods and experiencing nature firsthand, students gain a deeper appreciation for the forests that provide habitat, clean air and water, and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.

What do insects, spiders, crayfish, and other creepy-crawlies have in common? They're all Spineless Wonders! 🕷️🦋🦞

In this Camp Leopold activity, students become wildlife detectives as they search for and identify invertebrates living throughout our diverse habitats. Through hands-on exploration, collection, and observation, participants discover the incredible adaptations and "superpowers" that help these animals survive and thrive.

From pollinating plants to breaking down organic matter, these small creatures play a BIG role in keeping ecosystems healthy. It's science, discovery, and outdoor adventure all rolled into one unforgettable experience!
