Reach new heights at Camp Leopold’s Sky Park! 🧗

SC Standards: 4.P.3, 6.P.3
Students explore physics concepts like gravity, force, and balance while navigating our high ropes course high above the ground. Through each obstacle, participants build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a hands-on outdoor learning environment.

At Camp Leopold, adventure and education go hand in hand as students challenge themselves, support their peers, and discover what they’re capable of achieving.

Reach new heights with Rockin’ Heights at Camp Leopold! 🧗‍♂️

Students will climb, race, and challenge themselves on brand new climbing tower while exploring important physics concepts like gravity, force, friction, balance, and energy transfer. Aligned with SC Standards 4.P.3 and 5.P.2, this activity combines hands-on learning with confidence-building adventure.

As students race to the top like tree frogs gripping a tree trunk, they’ll strengthen hand-eye coordination, test their grip strength, and discover how motion and force work in the real world.

Most importantly, they’ll learn that stepping outside their comfort zone can lead to incredible accomplishments! 💪 Learn more at https://scwa.org/pages/camp-leopold

Our Marsh Madness activity brings science to life as students explore wetland ecosystems firsthand—investigating water filtration, nutrient cycling, and the critical role wetlands play in supporting biodiversity.

Aligned with SC Standards (5.L.4, 7.EC.5), this experience helps students build observation skills and step into the role of young naturalists, recording discoveries and connecting classroom concepts to the natural world.

Our Camp Leopold PLUS+ team had a great time at Lawrence Manning Academy, working alongside students to build raised beds for their greenhouse and future gardening projects.

Through teamwork and hands-on learning, these students are laying the foundation for understanding where their food comes from and how to care for the land around them.

This was a great community project, and we were proud to take part in something that positively impacts our surrounding area.

Gathered around the fire, learning comes to life 🔥

Our Camp Leopold campfire activity is a time for students to reflect, connect, and dive deeper into the lessons of conservation and the natural world. From storytelling to shared experiences, these moments leave a lasting impact long after the fire fades.
