The Underground Railroad still exists today.

Christian leaders, churches and those with a heart for justice working together to help find legal pathways to protect those who are persecuted.

Members of Neighbor the Nation’s team joined leaders from the underground railroad serving refugees in Europe this week.

They are meeting right now off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

Our team has gone to find safe houses and connections that could get one of our persecuted brothers and sisters to safety.

🙏Pray for our team’s wisdom and discernment

🙏Pray for them to be led to the right connections for those in our sheltering network.

Persecuted Christian refugees and our US Allies is who we went to advocate for in Washington DC. We met with Senator Tedd Budd’s, Senator Tillis’ and Representative Mark Harris’ office.

Lent is a special 40 days of prayer and fasting often celebrated by those identifying as Christians leading up to Easter, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.
There are an estimated 2.5 billion people that identifies Christians in the world.

Ramadan is a 30 days of fasting often practiced by those who consider themselves Muslims. There are an estimated 2 billion people that identify as Muslims in the world.

We are so proud of our Afghan neighbor and all that she has accomplished! It was such a joy to celebrate her the other night and honor her many achievements, including making the Dean’s List at her university! She is an incredibly strong woman who is paving the way for future Afghan women to pursue their dreams and goals.✨

As we look back on 2025, we are deeply grateful and moved by the community partnerships and gifts that have come alongside our precious families. Lives are being rebuilt, hope is being restored, and communities are being transformed. Join us in continuing this work in 2026. Every gift helps protect the persecuted, resettle refugees, and rebuild lives.

2025 Impact Report:
- 38 persecuted christians protected
- 6 US-Afghan Ally families resettled to safety in Charlotte
- 23 Children in School
- 33 Lives resettled and being rebuilt
- 5 Families received Cars
- 71 Volunteers
- 12 Partnering Churches and Organizations
- 1 Financial Integrity Accreditation Approved

When we welcome the foreigner and care for the vulnerable, we are welcoming and caring for Jesus himself. He identifies with them. What we do for them, we do for Him (Matthew 25:34-46).
