WHEN: August 17th, 11 am-1:30pm
WHERE: Big Elk Campground, Pineville Missouri
WHO: Young Outdoorsmen United
WHAT: Catfish, Fries, Cole Slaw, Hish Puppies, Homemade Cookies, and drink all for a $20 donation. Meals catered by the famous Flat Creek Restaurants!!! All proceeds to fuel Young Outdoorsmen’s United monthly youth events. Please call 417

Dine OUTDOORS under the covered pavilion with large fans. Or our staff will bring your orders to your vehicle at our DRIVE-UP TO GO service area. All meals paid by August 11th will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Flat Creek gift card. Please call 417-439-8594 to reserve your meals as we have a limit of 250 to serve.

Rain out date has been rescheduled for June 21st and need a few more who cannot attend

** Free Trout Fishing Event **

WHO: Hosted by Young Outdoorsmen United
WHEN: Saturday June 21st 8:00am-10:00am
WHERE: Roaring River State Trout Hatchery

All girls and boys age 8-15 interested in participating shall submit name, age, and mailing address to 417-439-8594 by the June 19th deadline to be entered in the random drawing for participation. Successful participants will be notified on June 20th. Due to space limitations a maximum of 12 youth will be drawn.

The Missouri Department of Conservation will reserve a special pool and stock it with plenty of of rainbow trout for us to fish. No permit or license is required for the event. Fishing poles, bait/lures, nets, and stringers all provided by our organization as well as bottled water.

We are looking forward to providing a fun morning of fishing and best of luck to all who submit an entry!

Gorgeous day for a picnic and a guided cave tour!

We took 15 spelunkers to one of our local area’s underrated attractions……Bluff Dwellers Cave, and they absolutely loved the adventure!

Not only did the kids enjoy the cool cave formations , the group encountered salamanders and bats up close!

After the tour, the history museum and exhibits were the center of focus and our gtoup had many questions for the tour guides.

As a surprise treat, panning for real gemstones in the water sluice raised the excitement level off the chart as they got to take home their newly discovered treasures!

These kids were an absolute gem to engage in this beautiful day on Saturday 🩷

Free Youth Cave Tour

We are hosting a guided cave tour for kids age 7-11 years old at Bluff Dweller's Cave located in Noel, Missouri on March 22nd at 9:30am

Due to cave rules, this tour is limited to 12 participants (parents not included).

A grilled hotdog lunch included after the tour.

Beautiful weather!
Amazing kids!
Knowledge guides!

Blessed with fantastic weather for February and no one was uncomfortable.

The young fishermen were so respectful and appreciative, they individually thanked each one of us!

Reel Time Adventures put us on plenty of fish and were done nearly 2 hours early. First class all the way!

**** Free Guided Spoonbill Excursion for Kids ****

Young Outdoorsmen United is hosting this event for youth ages 8-15 from 8:00am to 1:00pm on February 15th located on the Honey Creek arm of Grand Lake , Grove OK.

All kids interested in participating must submit name, birthdate, and mailing address to 417-439-8594 by the February 12th deadline. A random drawing on February 13th will determine participants, and will be notified by the end of the day.

Due to space allocation on the two guided fishing boats, parents/guardians shall remain on shore during the duration of the excursion. Lunch will be provided at the end of the trip.

** We did good **

These wonderful kids had an extremely memorable evening while c**n hunting.....bagging 7 c**ns. To say they had "a good time" is a big understatement!

We started with a delicious meal, headed to the woods for an hour and a half, and came back with a total of 7 c**ns.

The event was filled with tons of laughter, hoop'n & holler'n, and a grandeur of smiles.

We appreciate dog owners Cheyenne Cummings, Mike Clonts, and Jason O'Brien for providing such excellent hounds!

Thanks also to our own volunteers Sophie and Jason Platter, plus all the parents who brought these youth to experience an Ozark c**n hunt.
