We love R.I.S.E.

We received a phone call from the mother of someone who recently completed R.I.S.E. (Recover, Inspire, Strengthen, Empower), our 90-day in-custody substance use treatment program at the Navajo County Jail. She became emotional as she described the difference she’s seen in her loved one since participating in the program—calling it life-changing and possibly lifesaving.

This kind of feedback means a lot to us. R.I.S.E. is a core part of the Sheriff’s Office commitment to expanding reentry and supportive services for our justice-involved community members. The fact that this transformation happened while in custody shows how valuable these programs can be. Even after leaving the jail, this participant is still applying what he learned and is eager to continue his recovery journey.

We don’t often get to hear these stories firsthand from families, but when we do, it’s a powerful reminder of why we invest in programs like R.I.S.E. Thank you to everyone who helps make this work possible.

WOW… May was a BIG month at the RE:center! 🙌

From celebrating a graduate from our 2-year transitional housing program 🎉 to serving over 550 food boxes 🥫, welcoming new participants into recovery-focused housing, hosting a Vitalant Blood Drive ❤️, and partnering in community housing discussions — God has been moving in incredible ways.

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteer Kathy Casto as she heads out for the season. We already can’t wait to welcome her back! 💛

🇺🇸 In honor of Memorial Day, the RE:center will be closed today, Monday, May 25th.

As we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we pray that you have a safe and meaningful holiday with your loved ones. ❤️🤍💙
