Our Community Outreach Director, Heather Yazzie Campbell, will be presenting at the 3rd National Conference on American Indian and Alaska Native Injury & Violence Prevention on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Oneida Resort Hotel in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Her presentation, "A Light in the Dark: Solar Safety and the Fight to End MMIWP," is part of the conference track Prevention and Response: Approaches to Addressing Experiences of Violence and Healing Across Violence Types.

We're honored to bring this important work to a national stage and continue the fight to end MMIWP.

A Turquoise Alert was issued for a 13-year-old girl missing from Apache Junction since Friday afternoon. She was found safely on Wednesday morning.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE
Eliando Walker, 10 years old

Last seen on June 23, 2026 near the ABHS building around 5:00 PM wearing a gray shirt with blue jeans.

Officers checked the area but Eliando was not located.

Officers did a follow up again today with the guardian & were informed that Eliando still has not returned home.
