The first days of school are officially in the books, and our students are ROCKING IT! 💙💛

From learning new routines and navigating new class schedules to meeting new teachers and making new friends, our students are showing us just how incredible they are! 🌟👏

Every new transition is a BIG accomplishment, and we are so proud of the courage, flexibility, and determination our students are showing each day. 💪❤️

💙✨ EVERY VOICE DESERVES TO BE HEARD! ✨💙

Our students communicate in SO many amazing ways, and today we’re celebrating one of those incredible methods—eye gaze! 👀💙

Here we have one of our amazing students using his eye gaze to make a choice during lunchtime! 🍽️🙌

Communication doesn’t always come through spoken words. Sometimes it’s a look, a gesture, a device, a smile, or a movement—and every single form of communication matters! 💙

We are so proud to empower our students to make choices, express their wants and needs, and have a voice in their everyday lives. His eyes are speaking loud and clear! 👀🗣️✨

Lunch at Nina Harris ESEC is about so much more than just eating—it’s another opportunity for our students to practice independence, make choices, and have their voices heard! 🙌✨

Today, Tenley got to make her own choices during lunch, and watching her take ownership of what she wanted was absolutely AMAZING! 🥰👏

At Nina Harris, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to communicate, make decisions, and be empowered—whether it’s choosing what to eat, where to sit, what activity to participate in, or simply expressing what they want and need.

Those little moments of choice can create BIG moments of confidence, independence, and self-advocacy! 💪💙

We don’t just support our students…WE EMPOWER THEM! 🦋💛

🎉 DAY 2 IS IN THE BOOKS! 🎉

Our students are back, bringing ALL the energy, smiles, and excitement for another amazing school year at Nina Harris ESEC! 💙💛

Today, our students enjoyed lunch with friends—and some of our lucky students got to pick out and SPORT their very own custom-made shirt guards! 👕✨ These awesome shirt guards were lovingly made by our very own Cafe Manager, Mrs. Stacy! 💙

We are SO thankful for the creativity, kindness, and heart that our amazing cafe staff bring to our school every single day. 🥰 From serving up delicious meals to going above and beyond to meet the unique needs of our students, they truly are THE BEST CAFE STAFF AROUND! 🙌❤️

Thank you, Mrs. Stacy, and our entire cafe crew, for making our students feel special, supported, and cared for! 🥰

🎉📚 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AT NINA HARRIS ESEC! 📚🎉

And WOW… the kids brought the ENERGY, and you better believe WE MATCHED IT! 🙌🔥💪

The smiles, excitement, laughter, hugs, high-fives, and pure JOY were everywhere today! 💙✨ Our students showed up ready to take on a brand-new school year, and our staff was right there with them—bringing the energy, the encouragement, and ALL the positive vibes! 🥳

Today was a reminder of why we do what we do. ❤️ Every student deserves to feel welcomed, celebrated, supported, and ready to SHINE—and our Nina Harris family is here to make that happen!

🎉 IT TAKES A VILLAGE ! 🎉

A huge shoutout to Element Tree Care for their generous delivery of school supplies to help fill a wagon and get our teachers and classrooms off to an AMAZING start for the new school year! 🛒📚✏️💙

We are incredibly thankful for the outpouring of support from our community during our Back-to-School Wagon Drive! Every donation, big or small, makes a HUGE difference for our teachers and the students they serve. ❤️

Your generosity is helping us stock classrooms with the supplies, tools, and goodies our teachers need to make this school year a successful one!

Our Back-to-School Teacher Wagons are starting to come together, and we are SO thankful for everyone who has donated so far! ❤️🎉

But…we still have a few wagons that need some love! We have empty wagons waiting to be filled with supplies that will help our amazing teachers and students have a successful school year.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. If you’ve been thinking about helping, now is the perfect time! Let’s make sure all 19 classrooms start the year feeling supported and appreciated. 💙🛒📚
