Courtesy Pos: Daisy is looking for her forever home! She is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She spent all her life with free roam of the house and does not like to be confined or crated, except when eating. She does demonstrate food aggression issues with other dogs, so it’s best if she’s the only dog in the household, or with another older, independent dog.

Her energy level is moderately active; she is not a typical senior! Fully fenced property or porch is required because she tries to escape. She is very independent, shy and reserved at first, but does like affection once she begins to feel safe and comfortable with her surroundings. Overall, a special girl!

🚨 TWO DOGS. TWO EMERGENCIES. WE NEED YOUR HELP. 🚨

This past week has been incredibly difficult for our rescue…
One of our recently rescued dogs, Max, was found abandoned on the streets, abandoned near a dumpster. He was suffering from a severely injured eye. We got him medical attention, and he ultimately needed eye removal surgery. Today, he is safe in a foster home, recovering from surgery. ❤️‍🩹🐶

While we were caring for him, another one of our rescue dogs, Yuri, experienced a serious cardiac emergency and was hospitalized. Despite all efforts and procedures, he sadly did not make it. 💔

Unfortunately, emergency care comes with significant costs — and now our rescue is facing two large, unexpected veterinary bills at once. We don’t want these expenses to prevent us from saying YES to the next dog who needs us.

💙 In Loving Memory of Yuri 💙
Earlier this week, we said goodbye to our sweet Yuri, and our hearts are broken.

Yuri was such a special little soul. He loved going for walks, exploring, and simply being out and about. For such a little guy, he brought so much life, personality, and joy wherever he went.

Yuri had a heart condition that we knew made his life a little more fragile, but it never stopped him from enjoying the things he loved. He lived his life with enthusiasm and a spirit that was so much bigger than his tiny body.

His little paws may have stopped walking beside us, but the memories of those walks, his sweet face, and all the happiness he brought will stay with us forever.

Run free, sweet Yuri. 🌈🐾
You were loved beyond words, and you will be missed more than you could ever know. 💙

12 year old Rocky used to be the center of his owner's world and was deteriorating at our shelter. We were able to find him a temporary foster and have learned so much. Please share and help Rocky never come back to the shelter and transition from Foster to a Forever home.

Rocky fit right in his foster home and had no problem making friends with the other dogs or with kids. Rocky is potty trained and sleeps through the night. He loves cuddling and finding soft places to rest but don’t worry he will follow you anywhere you go and is still a frisky boy. He loves his walks, car rides and being outside. What he loves most is anything that involves being part of the family! Rocky is vision and hearing impaired due to his age. Please share and help us find Rocky a family to spend the rest of his senior years!
