🎄HAPPY PARADE WEEK!🎁
The 52nd Annual Pinellas Park Christmas Parade steps off this Saturday, December 13 at 6:00PM!
Here's what you need to know 👇
📍 The parade route is eastbound Park Boulevard from 58th Street to 40th Street. If you sit west of 58th Street, you will miss all of the large floats, marching bands, and the big man himself! 🎅
👀 For the complete experience, you need to be on the south side of Park Boulevard. Westbound Park Boulevard is still open to traffic. People start setting up chairs around 4:30PM.
♿ Accessible seating is available at Taylor Family Funeral Home located at 5300 Park Boulevard. This is best accessed from 53rd Street via 70th Avenue.
👥 Crews deploy over 9,000 feet of crowd control barricades to keep spectators safe. There are designated crossings for spectators coming from the north side of Park Boulevard 52nd Street, 49th Street, and 43rd Street.
🕕 This is a long parade. There are 119 entries including six marching bands, dance groups, car clubs, civic organizations, local businesses, and professional floats scheduled to participate.
🚧 Road closures begin between 12:30PM and 1:00PM at Park Boulevard and 66th Street and proceed eastbound. The entire route is closed by 3:30PM, including 52nd Street, 49th Street, and 43rd Street at Park Boulevard - 66th Street and U.S. 19 will remain open for northbound and southbound travel.
❎ Yes, it's too late to sign up to participate. Registration runs September 1st through the Friday before Thanksgiving every year.
