Morning Star School is a Catholic school that recognizes the unique educational needs of students.

We are in the middle of a capital campaign to raise money for campus updates and a new building to house our Transition Program. This program will provide additional education and training for young adults with special needs from high school graduation until the age of 22. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Congratulations to our August and September Mustang Character Award winners! Throughout the start of the school year, our teachers have been using Friendzy and other SEL tools to build teamwork and collaboration skills - and our winners truly took those lessons to heart! We had almost 30 students receive shoutouts from teachers for showing collaboration around campus. Way to go Mustangs!

Check out a few of our proud winners with their certificates:

Thank you Baron Buddies for hanging out and playing games with our high school classes today! Can't wait to see you all again!

Our Friday coffee cart is officially back in action! ☕

Opening day was a total hit, especially thanks to a new menu option: Colby’s Cold Brew!

Students from our Transition program will be rolling through campus every Friday to keep our staff caffeinated and to build some real-world skills while they're at it!

What does it take to crush a Master’s program while preparing to welcome a new baby? Just ask one of our high school teachers, Mrs. Boudro!

Mrs. B recently earned her Master’s degree with a Behavior Specialist concentration—crossing the finish line weeks before becoming a mom!

She says her journey was, "rewarding, challenging, and absolutely worth every late night."

Mrs. B wanted to pursue her Master’s to gain a deeper understanding of how to best support her students. One of her biggest lessons from the program? Remembering that flexibility is key in the classroom. Teachers shouldn't be afraid to take a step back, try something different, and change things up to find what works best for each individual student.

Way to go, Mrs. B! We’re so proud of your academic achievements and the way you’re already such an incredible mom to your sweet girl!
