Our Friday coffee cart is officially back in action! ☕

Opening day was a total hit, especially thanks to a new menu option: Colby’s Cold Brew!

Students from our Transition program will be rolling through campus every Friday to keep our staff caffeinated and to build some real-world skills while they're at it!

What does it take to crush a Master’s program while preparing to welcome a new baby? Just ask one of our high school teachers, Mrs. Boudro!

Mrs. B recently earned her Master’s degree with a Behavior Specialist concentration—crossing the finish line weeks before becoming a mom!

She says her journey was, "rewarding, challenging, and absolutely worth every late night."

Mrs. B wanted to pursue her Master’s to gain a deeper understanding of how to best support her students. One of her biggest lessons from the program? Remembering that flexibility is key in the classroom. Teachers shouldn't be afraid to take a step back, try something different, and change things up to find what works best for each individual student.

Way to go, Mrs. B! We’re so proud of your academic achievements and the way you’re already such an incredible mom to your sweet girl!

Two days in, and it feels like we never left!

From our tiny kindergarteners carrying backpacks twice their size to our young adults reuniting in our Transition program, the campus has been buzzing. The hallways are alive, the playgrounds are loud, and we couldn’t be happier to have everyone back.💙

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Cayden Riley, a former student. How fitting to see he was appointed as an honorary firefighter- a testament to his incredible spirit and bravery. Our hearts are with his family and all who knew him during this difficult time. Cayden will always be remembered by the Morning Star family.

Help us welcome Ms. Colby into her new role as Morning Star principal!

Ms. Colby has been a familiar part of the Morning Star family and culture as she has worn many hats around our campus, including Guidance Counselor and Assistant Principal.

Ms. Colby has worked closely with Mrs. Conza to ensure a smooth transition and she has officially stepped into the principal role this month!

We look forward to this new chapter under Ms. Colby’s leadership as we continue to empower students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
