YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT OUR FAMILY HAS RECENTLY BEEN THROUGH!!

We are still navigating a difficult situation, and it has reminded me how important it is for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to understand their rights, know what supports are available, and know where to go when they have questions or concerns.

Families should NOT have to feel lost when they are trying to advocate for someone they love. We need information, connection, and a place where our voices can be heard.

That is why meetings like the Family Care Council matter.

The mission of the Family Care Council is to educate and empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, while partnering with APD to promote dignity, choice, and quality services.

If your loved one receives APD services, is on the waiver, is waiting for services, or you simply want to better understand what APD provides, I encourage you to attend tonight’s meeting.

Being informed is one of the first steps in advocacy.
Your voice matters.

Please consider attending tonight and learning more.

Congratulations!!!

Stories like this matter because so many individuals with autism and developmental disabilities grow up feeling overlooked, isolated, misunderstood, or bullied.

That’s why Isaiah Village exists — to remind people that their future is not limited by what others say about them today. Confidence, community, purpose, friendships, independence, and opportunity can change everything.

Never underestimate what someone can become when they are supported, included, and believed in. ❤️

Too often, adults with autism and developmental disabilities are overlooked after graduation.

This past Saturday , we celebrated possibility instead. 🎓

At Isaiah Village, we believe individuals deserve community, opportunity, belonging, and pathways toward greater independence — not isolation.

This celebration was more than a graduation party.
It was a reminder that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.
