Sandhills Cat Coalition is a nonprofit organization located in Pinehurst, NC.
Our mission is to alleviate the suffering of homeless, stray and feral cats in Moore County by providing humane spay/neuter services, and by rescuing and responsibly placing as many animals as possible in permanent, loving homes. We’re a small group of volunteers who foster the cats we rescue. We do not operate a shelter, and we strive to be a resource for adopters and the general public.
How We Work
There are amazing people in our community who selflessly help colonies of stray and feral cats— people who love cats, and who may or may not have the economic means to provide the full range of care for their colony.
We partner with colony caregivers, assess their situation, and provide support multiple ways.
