Join our Friends at Sanford Pride for Q***r Movie Night this Friday at 6:00 PM at the Sanford Yoga and Community Center!

As we kick off Pride Month, we invite you to join us for a community film viewing and discussion led by Jordan Napoli-Cranford of the powerful documentary United in Anger: A History of ACT UP.

This film tells the story of the AIDS activist movement through the voices of those who were in the trenches fighting for their lives, their loved ones, and their community during the height of the AIDS epidemic.

Together, we will watch the film and hold space afterward for discussion, reflection, education, and community conversation.

Pride has always been more than rainbows and glitter.

It has always been resistance.

As a passionate musician since the age of four, Queen Water feels her journey truly started with singing and elevated with the bass guitar under the influences of Gospel, Soul, NeoSoul, and RnB. Performing in churches, stages, and studios, she has become known for her soulful sound and heartfelt lyrics. Her memorable performances, especially at the Lee County Fair, showcase her dedication to music as a healing force in her life.

With aspirations of forming a band, Queen Water encourages all aspiring musicians, especially those with disabilities, to pursue their dreams. Her music stands as a testament to a gifted spirit and a kind soul.

Queen Water will be performing at PRIDEFest at 3:15 pm!!
