The Tin Whistles members met on March 18th to receive the annual report on their Foundation’s activities. They heard that 174 scholarships had now been awarded since 1979 and that plans were well developed to increase the number and scope of scholarships in the Sandhills area going forward.

The 2025 TWSF Scholars were recently announced. Congratulations to the nine outstanding Moore County seniors who were selected as scholarship recipients: Mason Broadway (Union Pines), Ceilidh Clendenin (Union Pines), Keegan Cole-Bryan (Pinecrest), Madison Dills (North Moore), Allyson Flewwellin (Unions Pines), Aaron Garner (North Moore), Grace Queen (Union Pines), Kaylee Smith (Pinecrest), and Miranda Waggoner (Pinecrest).
