🐴 Why do we support Sanctuary Horses?

At Sanctuary Horses, rescued equines find safety, care, and purpose. Each horse arrives with its own story; some displaced by circumstances, others misunderstood or no longer able to be cared for. Here, they are cherished, valued, and given a second chance at life.

Each horse in our Sanctuary Horse family has been, or is currently being, rehabilitated to support upcoming equine-assisted therapy at The Sanctuary.

✨ Trauma tries to tell you that your story is over. We are here to echo a different truth: your past does not define your future, and everyone has a purpose. As a non-profit organization, Reclaiming Hope’s mission is to raise awareness and scholarship funds for partner organizations, providing high-quality mental health care and support services.

✨“I’ve heard so much about the horse/human connection, but to actually experience it was more powerful than I could’ve imagined. Having a space to observe the horses reminded me how important it is to take a step back and reflect on what is happening both in my life and in my heart." ~ Participant from a Compass Session

This is why Reclaiming Hope exists. We create a bridge by partnering with other purposeful organizations and providing HOPE together.

💓 You made this possible! Because of your continued generosity, Reclaiming Hope is honored to share that we are able to sponsor a horse through Sanctuary Horses and fully cover the monthly care for Maddie throughout all of 2026.

Your support makes this possible. Sponsoring Maddie means she will receive consistent care, nourishment, and love, and in turn, she will continue to play a powerful role in the healing journey of those we serve. Horses like Maddie are not just animals; they are gentle teachers, trusted companions, and a source of peace and connection.

Thank you for believing in this work and for making a tangible difference through your generosity. Your support allows hope to grow, for people and animals alike, and we are so grateful to walk this journey with you.

✨ Purposeful Partner Highlight! - Compass Equine Learning

$50 can make a difference

Reclaiming Hope is raising funds to create scholarships for individual and group sessions. These sessions offer ground-based, non-riding Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) experiences centered on the power of connection and relationship with horses. Healing and growth happen through authentic interactions, as horses respond to us emotionally, energetically, and physically in the present moment.

Become a partner of hope.

💕 Purposeful Partner Spotlight! Why do we support Sanctuary Horses? Nestled in the mountains of Western Wyoming, you'll find a family of horses with a common history; they have all been rescued. Each horse in our Sanctuary Horse family has been, or is currently being, rehabilitated to support upcoming equine-assisted therapy at The Sanctuary.

Your donations make it possible to help provide feed, hay, vet visits, and supplies, and to make these horses feel loved like never before.
