For Reel Pictures

For Reel Pictures We specifically help our filmmakers build the reels they need to get hired in the film industry.

Mission Statement
Our nonprofit is committed to supporting emerging filmmakers in South Florida by financing the development phase of new films and providing access to experienced professionals for consultation, mentoring, and internships. We are a community of student film makers who strive to make excellent quality short and low budget independent films while helping starving artist like us move

forward. Here a filmmaker with no experience can gain experience while being taught to continue our mission to carry people with little to no connections towards their future in their chosen careers. Our senior staff work to help our members explore their chosen careers in the Film industry by offering them opportunity by exposing them to the realities they will experience like production meetings and training them how to use film technique or equipment shared by our other members. We train our members to become quality interns for local film companies while growing as a community. To grow our community, we fundraise and publish independent short films into either film festivals or on our YouTube page brought to you by individual members who step up and make their own videos or films with the blessings from our teams council of Executive Directors and support. As we publish new works we also give recognition to everyone involved in our projects inside and outside our organization. We even provide certain film services to clients whom seek to promote their image or philanthropic cause by advising them while helping them make low budget independent videos or films. Whether or not we charge our clients depends on their financial status. If we are aiding a client who is on such a low budget he or she can't pay us, thats no problem, we then simply charge them by insuring they credit us for making his or hers content.

🏛️ Miami’s cultural legacy is on the line.

On Thursday, July 24, 2025, the City of Miami will vote to give away the historic Olympia Theater — our beloved Gusman — to a for-profit charter school for just $10.

For nearly a century, the Olympia Theater has stood as a pillar of Miami’s arts, culture, and history. From Nina Simone to Elvis, it has been a sacred stage for music, cinema, theater, and community memory. In 2017, voters approved $20 million through the Miami Forever Bond to preserve this landmark. So why is it being handed away — quietly, and without public input?

This building is not just old — it’s irreplaceable. Giving it away threatens to erase a space that generations have cherished and that future artists deserve to inherit.

🎭 Let’s protect this living monument of creativity and history.
