Meet MAEDAY! She’s ready to learn her way into your heart!

Maeday is a 6 month old girl who is super smart, loves learning new tricks, and is good with cats and dogs!

She’s nearly house and crate trained and making great progress. Like many puppies, she loves to chew, so appropriate chew toys and continued guidance will be part of helping her grow.

Meet GIRLIE! She is a smart, sweet girl with so much ahead of her!

Girlie is a 2 year old mixed breed girl who is great with other dogs, good with cats, and very smart!

She is heartworm positive, has completed her preparations for treatment, and will soon be scheduled for treatment in Apex. Her future family will need to understand her treatment plan and the care she’ll need along the way. We’re happy to talk through those details with interested adopters.

Girlie deserves a loving family to cheer her on through this next chapter.

Autumn is a 6 month old mixed breed girl learning the comforts of indoor life. Everything is still new, and she’s working on house and crate training with plenty of growing and learning ahead!

She’s dog friendly and has been okay around cats during the limited opportunities she’s had to interact with them. Any new feline friendships should begin with slow introductions.

Autumn needs a family willing to offer patience, consistency, and a loving place to call her own. Could that be you?

Meet HAZEL! She is a sweet girl discovering a whole new world!

Hazel is a 6 month old mixed breed girl who is new to indoor living and learning what being a house dog is all about. She’s working on house and crate training and needs a patient family to help her settle into a routine.

She’s dog friendly and has been okay around cats so far, although her interactions with them have been limited. Slow introductions will help everyone get comfortable!

Meet MIRANDA! Sometimes the quiet girls have so much love to share.

Miranda is just under 2 years old and can be very shy when meeting new people. Give her time to warm up, though, and you’ll get to know a sweet girl who does wonderfully with a consistent routine.

She’s crate trained, nearly house trained, and pretty quiet. She does best with large dogs. She has ignored cats so far, but her opportunities to interact with them have been limited.

Miranda needs someone who will let her settle in at her own pace and appreciate each little step forward. Could you be her person?

‼️Found at Main Street park in Downtown Aberdeen, NC! ‼️

This gorgeous gal, who we are referring to as Lucy, was found at the Main Street park in Downtown Aberdeen. She has been scanned for a microchip by the sheriffs animal control officer and one was not found.

She’s a super sweet gal who we’d love to get returned to her rightful owner! If no owner is found, she will be prepared for adoption and we will help ensure she finds a wonderful forever family.

This handsome 5 month old possible Border Collie mix is smart, energetic, and ready to be someone’s adventure buddy! Freddie LOVES running and playing with dog friends, and he’s looking for a super active home that can give him plenty of exercise, learning, and fun.

A little life update, two exciting events, and a big need for helping hands!

Hey friends, Jessica here! We’ve been a little MIA lately, and I’m sorry for the quiet. We recently hit our FOUR YEAR mark, and while our volunteer support continues to ebb and flow, the animals still need us every day. Last week, midterms took over much of my focus but I’m back and ready to catch you up!

We’ll be there with so many sweet dogs, puppies, and cats hoping to meet their forever families! This is their biggest event of the year, and we feel incredibly grateful to have been selected to partner with them.

We need extra hands for this event! Want to spend a few hours holding pups and helping them meet potential adopters? Send us a message if you’d like to volunteer!

Our monthly adoption event is coming up, too! Come meet some wonderful animals and help us spread the word one share could put them in front of their future family.

FOSTERS NEEDED BEFORE NOVEMBER

Several of our current fosters will need to step back in November because of personal obligations, so we need new foster homes for animals already in our care.

We have puppies, adults, and seniors who need a safe, loving place to land. If fostering has been on your heart, please reach out. We’d love to talk about what it involves and help find a match for your household.

With the holidays approaching, we’re hoping to give more animals the comfort, love, and families they deserve. Whether you can adopt, foster, volunteer, or share, you can help make that happen.
