Today has truly been a beautiful reminder of the power of community — a day filled with support, generosity, and love. It was an honor to be this year’s recipient of the Pine River – Backus Schools Kick Cancer fundraiser this afternoon.

Lakes Area Grit & Grace launched in July of 2024, and since then, we have connected with over 20 women in the Lakes Area. We gather once a month at various locations throughout the community. No matter what we are doing, our goal remains the same: to be in fellowship with one another, share resources, offer support, and encourage each other along the way. 🩷

The funds raised today will go directly back into our group. They will help us host educational workshops, cover facility costs for our gatherings, and provide tangible resources to bless the women we serve and their families.

Thank you for supporting our mission. We may be small, but we are mighty — and we are so grateful for the community’s support this afternoon 🩷

Humbled to be this year's beneficiary for the Pine River-Backus Schools Kick Cancer event. Our community continues to show up and support us time after time. Donations raised for Lakes Area Grit & Grace will directly benefit local women battling cancer. Funds are put to use by hosting educational workshops, facility fees for gatherings, and tangible resources to bless these families. Grateful for these opportunities we are given!
