🎨✈️ Last week, some of our students traveled to Santa Fe, New Mexico for a college visit at Institute of American Indian Arts!

While on campus, students explored what life at a collegiate art school can look like - gaining inspiration, asking questions, and imagining their futures in the arts. Even more exciting, this visit helped begin building a meaningful partnership that will create more opportunities for our students moving forward. 🙌

🇺🇸✨ Cody Two Bulls Earns National Citizen Honors Award ✨🇺🇸

We are incredibly proud to share that Senior Cody Two Bulls has been named a 2026 Citizen Honors Award recipient by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society—one of just six honorees selected nationwide.

Recognized by Medal of Honor Recipients themselves, this prestigious award honors individuals who embody courage, sacrifice, and selfless service in their communities.
Cody was honored in the Youth Service category for founding Backpacks & Baseball, supporting children and families across the Pine Ridge Reservation with essential supplies, meals, and meaningful community events. 💙

In addition to his service, Cody has been a dedicated student-athlete, competing in basketball and track & field since transferring to Maȟpíya Lúta. 🏀🏃‍♂️

We are so proud of the hard work happening in our classrooms every single day. Some students were recognized for consistently performing at a high level, while others were celebrated for the progress they’ve made through determination, resilience, and effort. Both matter. Both deserve to be seen.
