Yesterday was our annual Farm Toy Show. We had a great turnout of vendors, exhibitors and community! Thank you to all who helped make it a success!

We would be remiss if we didn’t recognize our beloved Ag Board member Bruce Pecorella at the show. George Angier said a prayer and we spoke about his influence over the years. Bruce passed away earlier this month. This was the first event without his support, and the loss is great. He will surely be missed.

We also recognized long term show participant John Kelley, who also passed earlier this month from Groton, NY. John was a dairy farmer who always found time to support the show and the FFA. We thank him for the support over the years.

Here’s to these legacy supporters of the Farm Toy Show and Pine Plains FFA. Please find obituaries in the comments.

This coming Saturday is our annual Farm Toy Show! Come shop around for farm toys, view the displays, get some lunch. Then you can watch the pedal pull and auction. Support the Pine Plains FFA from 9-2 PM.

The Ag Fair is less than two weeks away! Kick off the weekend with the Roast Beef Dinner in the high school cafeteria from 5-7 PM on Friday, October 10th.

The Ag Fair will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 9 AM until 3 PM.

Come see the Parade, Dairy Show, Antique Tractor Pull, and Horse Pull!

Big Fun in the HS Gym - Stop in to the HS gym to see the Pine Plains Garden Club Flower Show, Crazy Creatures, class displays, the Friends of the Pine Plains Free Library Book Sale and more!

Farmers Market - Local honey, carved wood products, goat milk soap, FFA/Ag crafts and more!

Fair Foods - Stissing Mountain HS classes and clubs will be selling everything from milk shakes and lemonade to soft pretzels, pulled pork, and more! Don't forget the Pine Plains Hose Company Chicken BBQ!

Car Meet - Park your unique or vintage ride in front of the HS; reserved spots are closest to the building marked by cones.

FFA Showmanship - Will follow the 4th and 5th grade conformation and showmanship classes.

We have a lot to celebrate at the 100th FFA State Convention at the NYS Fairgrounds!

🥇First place in Jr. Quiz Bowl for Coghlan, Aerie, Jaden and Liam
🐄 Hope Miller - Finalist for the Holstein Dairy Breed Award
🎉 8th out of 51 teams in Senior Quiz Bowl for Addison, Hope, Grace and Kayla
⭐️ Robert Stapf and Eli Howley competed in Jr. Tool ID
✅ Lia Zampko and Tatum Osofsky served as delegates
