Keeping existing homes safe and well maintained is essential to addressing our region’s housing challenges.

Joe Zmudczynski, Beyond Housing’s Construction Program Director, recently joined other local experts for a panel hosted by St. Louis REALTORS and the University of Missouri–St. Louis Community Innovation and Action Center. The conversation focused on the growing need for home repairs—and the partnerships, funding and capacity required to preserve quality housing throughout the St. Louis region.

Together with funding and community partners, Beyond Housing has helped bring more than $16 million in home repair grants to North St. Louis County.

We’re pleased to welcome Linda Robinson to Beyond Housing as our new Gift Officer.

Linda’s connection to Beyond Housing began when a family member became a client. After seeing our work firsthand, she became a financial contributor, an active supporter—and now, a member of our team.

Linda brings 28 years of experience in the finance industry as well as nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience. In her new role, she’ll build relationships and develop new opportunities involving the 24:1 Cinema and other Beyond Housing facilities.

How amazing is it that the historic Normandie Golf Club is being reimagined as a signature Jack Nicklaus-designed course in the heart of the 24:1 Community? Pretty amazing, indeed.

And its impact has already begun. Youth programming launched at the course this past summer through a partnership between the Metropolitan Golf Foundation and First Tee–Greater St. Louis.

The new Normandie Golf Club at Emerson Park shows what is possible when people and organizations think outside the box and come together around an extraordinary vision. Beyond Housing is proud to have been part of this effort alongside the Metropolitan Golf Foundation and a broad coalition of partners and supporters.
