Dana's work will be included in the Marietta Museum of Art's January exhibition, "Georgia Wood Artists." The opening is this Saturday night, January 10, from 6 to 8 pm in the Main Gallery. The exhibit continues until March 22. For details go to https://mariettacobbartmuseum.org

It's almost Halloween!

As usual, Eva has lined up some great music for LakeFest! If you want to hear all our Pine Lake friends, be here on Sunday when The Driveway Ramblers (Calvin and friends) open the show, followed by a morning chorus from our Clarkston neighbors, The Global Village Project (beautiful!). Don't worry, we'll have your Cosmic Gospel Hour in the afternoon! Emily Backus fans, she's on the list too with her band Wild Angels.
I'm especially interested in hearing Joyce & Jacque, a couple of famous Atlanta folk singers who've performed with Gladys Knight, The Pointer Sisters, Nina Simone and many others. Hope to see you all there!

Fran and her cats are getting famous in Pine Lake! They're being featured by LakeFest in promotions for the festival's "Celebrity Pets." You may remember seeing pet photos on banners in our Conversation Coves. Pine Lakers (and friends) pay a small fee to sponsor their cats, dogs and turtles (they are popular here) to appear as celebrities at LakeFest. BTW pet sponsorship is not limited to residents, so if you'd like yours to be a star, email me a color photo and I'll submit them.
