Currently our Association maintains five parks, two marinas with boat ramps, numerous boat docks, and multiple water access sites. PKA has more than 700 members, many of whom are secon

d homeowners or part-time residents. Our membership meets annually to elect a Board of Directors and to act on other Association business. The Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm., and meetings are open to all members. Association and Board meeting minutes are posted on this site, as well as contact information, and other important items related to PKA membership. Volunteers are the heart and soul of Pine Knoll Association. They give expertise and elbow grease to a wide range of projects that enhance and protect our outdoor spaces. They work tirelessly to keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone who uses them. All members are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities with PKA--no special skills required--just the desire to pitch in. If you have some time to spare, we would love to hear from you. PKA is fortunate to be a part of such special community where residents are committed to maintaining the beauty and integrity of our unique coastal environment. This website is yet another way to provide information and connect us as owners, neighbors, and friends. Comments? Suggestions? Questions? You can post any of these on our page or call our PKA Administrator at 252-240-1717.

Memorial Day Weekend Parking Volunteers

Looking for an easy way to meet your neighbors? This is it!!

Sign up now to volunteer as a parking attendant at Ocean Park on Memorial Day weekend. Shifts are short (one hour), and you may want to sign up for more than one. You can also sign up as a pair with a friend! For those who have not participated in the past, this is a holiday event that takes place on our three biggest summer holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th & Labor Day.

As a parking attendant, you will help alleviate parking issues, including the following:

* Directing oversized vehicles to appropriate locations (if they do not fit in between the white parking space lines, then they are oversized).

* Keep an eye out for unauthorized swiping in of vehicles (One person can not allow access to multiple vehicles unless for drop off ONLY!)

* Multiple family vehicles will be allowed in for drop off, but only ONE vehicle per family may park in the lot.

* Golf carts may park in golf cart-marked spaces only- not a car/truck space

If the parking lot is full, you will direct overflow parking and multiple vehicles to Hall Haven (just over the bridge on Mimosa, first right on Beechwood).

Thank you all for stepping up and volunteering your time during the holidays. Along with your friendly smile, you may want to bring some water, a chair, and your sunscreen. As a volunteer, you will have a designated volunteer parking space near the gate.

Have a Safe & Fun Holiday Weekend!

Check out the video that shows our new and improved retaining wall and garbage can Corral and we have the porta potty moved to a less visible spot but very accessible. Thank you PKA Board for selecting a contractor who did a great job.
