Find Out if Your Car Seat is Recalled!

You’ll need the name of the manufacturer, model number, and date of manufacture. You can usually find this information on the label of your car seat.

Keeping your little ones safe on the road starts with being informed!

🎄🚗 As the holiday season approaches and we become busier with shopping and visiting loved ones, it’s essential to prioritize driveway safety for our children.

Did you know that each year, over 9,000 children are treated in emergency rooms for injuries related to being alone in or around vehicles? Many of these incidents happen when drivers are unaware of kids nearby—often involving family or friends. But these tragedies can be easily prevented by following a few simple tips:

Top Tips for Driveway Safety:

Walk Around the Car: Before getting in, take a moment to walk all the way around your parked vehicle to check for children.
Designate a Safe Spot: Create a safe waiting area for kids when vehicles are about to move, ensuring that drivers can see them.
Accompany Young Children: Always hold hands with little ones when they’re getting in and out of a vehicle, especially in driveways and parking lots.
Let’s keep our little ones safe this holiday season by staying aware and following these simple precautions.

🔍 Poison Prevention Tips for Parents 🔍

Did you know that poisoning is the third leading cause of unintentional injury death among children ages 1 to 19? Let's keep our little explorers safe! Here are some crucial tips to prevent poisoning at home:

🏠 Store Safely: Keep all household products out of children’s sight and reach. Young kids often explore items under sinks, so make sure cleaning and personal care products are stored up high.

🔒 Original Containers Only: Always keep products in their original containers, and choose child-resistant options whenever possible.

📋 Read Labels: Carefully read and follow product labels. Make sure to use and store products according to instructions, and never leave them unattended while in use.

🚫 Be Aware: Check your home for potentially harmful items, such as cleaning supplies, liquid laundry packets, personal care products, plants, pesticides, alcohol, and medicine.

📞 Emergency Info: Save the Poison Help number in your phone: 1-800-222-1222. Poison control specialists provide free, confidential, expert advice 24/7.

Together, we can protect our kids from household dangers! Share these tips with friends and family to spread awareness.
