Hey, everyone! This is just a reminder that tomorrow (Thursday, April 4th, 2024) we will meet in Mrs. Schimek's classroom at 11:15 for a meeting. Since only three people e-mailed Mrs. Schimek project ideas for Earth Day, that is what we will be covering during the meeting.

Also, today is our founder's ninetieth birthday! Let's show her some love!

Hi, everyone! Happy Thursday! Something came up for this afternoon, so we will be unable to meet. However, please submit your Earth Day project ideas to Mrs. Schimek via e-mail! We have only received ideas from three people so far, and if we really want to make a difference, we need more!

The first ever Roots and Shoots Pumpkin Luminary Trail is tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 28)!

Please come out to the Trailhead City Park between 5:00-8:00pm to enjoy the 100+ carved pumpkins that will be lining the paved paths. Costumes are encouraged and candy will be handed out to children (and children at heart).

The cost is free, but we are asking our guests to bring non-perishable food items for the PI SHaring Shelves. Needed items include: Canned soups and fruits, side dishes, rice and noodle packets.

I'm planning on staying up a bit late and driving out to the country in hopes that I will get to see the amazing brilliance of the Northern Lights.
