The woodworking/welding project had an amazing meeting today. They got to learn how to do forging/blacksmithing. The girls made hair pins and Ely made a fire poker. A huge thank you to Stan (and Shirley)for hosting and showing the kids how. 🍀🔥

The club helped do dinner service at a wedding reception this evening with Chef Andy. They had such an amazing time and got tons of compliments! A few of them even got invited to the dance floor at the end of the night to have some fun.

Today the kids did some community service by doing two separate petting zoos.

Kaydence and Kinsley did the First 5 Daddy and Me event is Jackson. They had chickens and rabbits and talked a lot about 4-H.

Julie, Sophie, Ely and Laine did the Volcano Easter Egg Hunt. They had Guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and Eugene the goat. They also had fun talking to everyone and sharing their animals.

The home arts project made some pretty cute bean bag chickens tonight! Teen leader Sophie lead everyone and did a wonderful job explaining everything.

Julie and Sophie (poultry), Ely and Lexi (pigs) and Lily and Laine (rabbits) gave some awesome presentations today at Farm day! All the 3rd graders really enjoyed all they had to share. Good job everyone!

I forgot to post…last Sunday 9/7/25 these kids served at the Farms of Amador Dinner. They did an amazing job and worked super hard for Chef Andy! He’s always a pleasure to work with.
