Today we certified 7 scout leaders in Paddlesports Safety Facilitating! Our fearless participants practiced several different rescues and learned how to plan a float trip.

A small group of volunteers spent the day out at Camp Anderson working to restore an old, primitive camp site. They cleared brush, stacked wood, and discovered an old brick platform adjacent to the fire pit.

Thank you to all our members who voted for our 2024 scholarship recipient! We will make a public announcement of the results after we have had the opportunity to notify our winners. This year we will be awarding one $1,500 scholarship and one $500 scholarship. We are very grateful to all our applicants and their sponsors for the work they do to keep the outdoors accessible.

Its time for us to select our 2024 scholarship recipients! This year we have 5 candidates who have applied for $1500 in scholarship awards.

All CCF members are eligible to vote on the distribution of funds. If you would like to increase the award amount, CCF is a 501c3 public charity, donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Active CCF members will receive an email with links to the application packets and instructions on how to vote no later than March 15. If you would like to participate in the award distribution, be sure to join (or renew) before March 15!
