What a great day for golf and an even greater day for a cause so near and dear to my heart! 💚⛳

Our 6th Annual Warrior Golf Tournament at Maumelle Country Club brought together **22 teams** to raise money for Yoga Warriors Fighting Cancer.

The money raised will support *therapeutic yoga scholarships for cancer patients and caregivers* and *Warrior Lodge*, our no-cost home away from home for cancer patients traveling long distances for treatment. The need is real. Some cancer patients have even slept in their cars because they couldn’t afford a place to stay during treatment.

I was especially touched by golfers who joined us because cancer has touched their lives, too. For some, this tournament was very personal.

A pretty great day for Warrior Lodge! 💙

A BIG thank you to Summit Utilities and its program for a generous donation to support Warrior Lodge and the cancer patients we serve.

They gave a total of $175,000 in grants to 33 nonprofits today! Our portion of the grant helps us continue providing a home away from home at no cost for cancer patients traveling to Pine Bluff for lifesaving treatment.

We are grateful! 💙

Another First for the Warrior Golf Tournament! ⛳💚
This year, we decided to go bigger. We created a new level of support called Par Fore the Purpose for sponsors willing to go above and beyond to help us raise money to support cancer patients.
We made the call, and Baptist Health in Little Rock answered. We were thrilled and incredibly grateful.
Then something unexpected happened. Camp Buffalo RV • Camping • Cabins on the Buffalo National River answered the call, too!
So, for the first time, we have TWO Par Fore the Purpose sponsors! Both are committed to making lives better, and both believe in our mission.
