Community Empowerment Council Inc. We are a Nonprofit Organization in Pine Bluff, AR, empowering our community through education, prevention, and social programs.

We build lasting connections with youth and collaborate with local partners to drive positive change💪🏽📚🚫 Community Empowerment Council, CEC, is a non-profit social service organization that is located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. CEC was organized in June 2009 to strengthen and enhance the ties that bind families together, as well as other institutions within their respective communities. Community Em

powerment Council Inc has 2 emergency shelters that target the youth who are homeless and in foster care. The facilities we have are Margie’s House, for young men, between the ages 6-18 and Henry “Hank” Wilkin’s IV House, for young women, between the ages 8-18. Community Empowerment Council also has a food program that feeds children out of the community. Community Empowerment Council Inc has a community center which consists of health/wellness trainers working in physical activity with the children, staff/peer tutoring, staff feeding the children, and unlimited computer access.

We had an incredible time at our recent Brewing Connections event! Thank you to everyone who joined us for a morning filled with meaningful discussions on community building, resources, and networking.
