In observance of Heart Health Month, we will wear red on February 3rd to show our support and raise awareness ❤️

Ways to practice good heart health include:

❤️Eating a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins

❤️Avoiding smoking and practicing healthy daily habits

I Am Girls Empowerment Incorporated is extremely proud of our girls for their continued hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence!!

As graduation season approaches, now is the time to stay focused on applying for scholarships and meeting all deadlines. Over the past four years, we have successfully supported our girls in securing over $2 million in scholarship funding-and we're just getting started!

This day wouldn't be complete without taking a moment to celebrate I Am Girls Empowerment Day!!

On December 28, 2019, mayor Shirley Washington declared "I Am Girls Empowerment Day" for the city of Pine Bluff. We are appreciative of her for taking time to recognize our unwavering efforts to serve the citizens of our community. It is our hope that we can continue to empower and uplift our young girls by providing services that will benefit not only them but our community as a whole. We thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

Last night, a few of our I Am Girls Empowerment young ladies participated in the 57th Annual Debutant Cotillion, and they were nothing short of absolutely gorgeous. From their grace and poise to their confidence and elegance, they represented themselves, their families, and our organization with such class and excellence.

We are beyond proud of each of you. Your beauty radiated far beyond your gowns—it shined through your confidence, your character, and the young women you are becoming.

Always remember this moment, but more importantly remember who you are: strong, capable, intelligent, and worthy of every good thing that comes your way. Continue to walk boldly, hold your heads high, and never dim your light for anyone. The world needs exactly who you are.
