๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Congratulations to the Town of Pine Apple! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

We are proud to congratulate Pine Apple on being officially designated an America 250 Alabama Semiquincentennial City, as we join communities across the state in celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

This designation recognizes Pine Appleโ€™s rich history, strong sense of community, and commitment to preserving the stories and places that make our town special. As we look ahead to America's 250th Birthday in 2026, we look forward to celebrating our nation's heritage and the people who have helped shape Pine Apple for generations.

Congratulations to the Town of Pine Apple on this exciting honor! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽ‰

On Sunday, May 31, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Pine Apple Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire in our community.

Five firefighters and two fire trucks responded to the scene. Upon arrival, crews worked quickly to contain the fire and were successful in preventing it from spreading to a nearby gas tank and neighboring homes.

Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported.

While the home was a total loss, we are grateful for the efforts of our firefighters and for the outcome that no lives were lost and no one was harmed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the homeowners as they face the difficult task of rebuilding after this devastating loss.

Please join us in thanking the dedicated volunteers who leave their families at all hours of the day and night to serve and protect our community. We are proud of their commitment, courage, and service.

We are so grateful for the continued support of our community!

A special thank you to Drew Lowe and Keith Norred for providing the latest Pine Apple Volunteer Fire Department caps for our firefighters, and as part of a fundraiser for the public. Your support helps us continue serving our community.

And of course, we couldnโ€™t resist showing them off with our very own special model, Sadie Bell ๐Ÿ’› โ€” daughter of firefighter Justin Bell and Caroline Elizabeth Bell, one of our dedicated support volunteers and organizer of our most recent yard sale fundraiser.

It truly takes a community, and we are thankful for each and every one of you who support the PAVFD! ๐Ÿš’

๐Ÿ“ž๐Ÿš’ 911 Dispatcher Appreciation Week๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ“ž

This week, we were honored to deliver a small token of our appreciation to the incredible 911 telecommunicators in Camden.

These men and women are the calm in the chaosโ€”the first voice you hear in an emergency and the steady presence guiding help to where itโ€™s needed most. Their work is often unseen, but it is absolutely essential to everything we do.

Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and for always being there when our community needs you most. We are grateful to work alongside you!
