Cases for Kids

Cases for Kids Michigan's foster care was the sixth largest in the country. Many of the kids in the foster care system are the victims of abuse and/or neglect.

In 2006, a group by the name of Children's Rights sued the court to force a change. Two years ago, the state entered into a court settlement and is now being monitored as it makes changes to its child welfare system. The odds for children that are a product of this system to rise above it are incredibly low. The chance to obtain a college degree are even less. Experts agree that moving a lot and n

ot having a place that feels like home is traumatic for kids. They’re changing schools, living with strangers, and some of those people are not good substitute parents. Before you can help everyone in the world, you need to fix what is going on in your own backyard. This is why we are focused on helping the children in Michigan communities. We are here to give them hope and inspiration in whatever way possible. Our goal is to help as many children as we can rise above the negative influences and surround them with love and compassion.

We are ecstatic because this week we have reached 100 likes! Thank you for those who continue to spread the word about who we are and what we are trying to accomplish for the foster kids of Michigan! We also helped our first family this past week. We can't be more excited to give back to our communities. :)

We will be having meetings with community leaders in the next few weeks in attempt to try to set up drop off locations for donations. We appreciate the support you give us as we continue to grow as a non-profit organization. For everyone who is helping to spread the word, we truly appreciate it!

Anyone who expressed interest in writing to these children please be patient. We've contacted several people about getting letters to these wonderful kids and we're just waiting for them to get back to us. Thanks!
