Our Executive Director, Betti Mucha, spent last week training with Illinois State Police and Texas Department of Public Safety to be a victim services presenter for the Interdiction for the Protection of Children.

There are sometimes no words for how grateful we are for the community and their generous help! Pinckneyville Community Hospital called us and wanted the CAC to be the recipient for their recent bike project, and our families were so excited to get this beautiful bikes!

This week is Forensic Interviewer's Week, and we couldn't let the week end without taking a minute to recognize the 2 staff members who conduct forensic interviews for the CAC. Forensic interviewers are one of the core services that the CAC provides to children who are referred to the CAC. This service takes a special individual and we want to thank them for what they do for children!

Thank you to Oak Grove Baptist & the First Baptist Church in Pinckneyville for the wonderful donations they collected during their combined VBS. They collected books, stuffed animals, and other comfort items for our clients. We appreciate you thinking of us and our client's!
