Pinch Reunion WV The Pinch Reunion is the longest running community reunion of its kind in the United States. The Pinch Reunion was established in 1902 as a community event.

In the past, events have ranged from horseshoe competitions, political campaigning and stumping, greasy poles and hours of wonderful local music. The event has typically been held on the second Sunday in August, with concerts and festivities leading up to this time-honored Elk River Tradition..
