The Gardening 102 event for the kids will be this Tuesday the 11th from 2p-4p

Hey Family, We’d like to invite everyone out to the community garden site on Saturday November 8! We’ve been hard at work and would love to see the community come out and enjoy some time together!
10am-12pm will be for the kids so please scan the QR code on the flyer or let one of us know 12pm-2pm- Community Meeting and Ribbon Cutting

Thank you all for your support and raising awareness to your concerns! So far we’ve…
1. Completed Tree Trimming for the residents
2. Our 1st K12 session
3. Began working with the county to alleviate the drainage issues in the community (progress will continue to be made)

Next up is increasing road visibility at the corner of LeHigh and Ferguson
We’ll host a community meeting December 15 at 3:00 pm. Be on the lookout for the flyer and please spread the word. This will be our close out meeting for the 2024 year and we’ll discuss these updates in detail, get feedback, and discuss what’s to come for 2025!

November 2nd PPBA hosted its first session in our K-12 initiative orchestrated by Trusann Haynes, Stephanie Anderson , and Gail Smith. The kids truly enjoyed seeing the museum and hearing/seeing their relatives tell their story. The day was filled with fun, learning, and hands on activities. Thank you to the parents and grandparents that brought the kids out. We hope to see you at the next one!
