We mourn the passing of Randy Lee who made our community a better place to live for everyone.
We will be celebrating the life of Retired Fire Chief Randy Lee on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Randy's wish was to have his visitation at "Station 1"; that was his sanctuary for 42 1/2 years. The address is: Pillager Area Fire & Rescue, 204 Cedar Ave E, PO Box 204, Pillager, MN 56473.
Visitation is from 11am-2pm.
At 2pm, we will honor Randy by giving him one last ride in the fire truck to Wildwood Cemetery, Pillager, MN. Graveside Ceremony will begin at 2:15pm.
The Pillager Community Center will be open as an overflow site for fellowship, food and stories as we reminisce about Randy. Randy's favorite meal will be served starting at 11:30am-3:00pm. We'd love for everyone to join us.
If you are currently serving (or are retired from) Fire, EMS, Police, Sheriff's Office, State Patrol, Dispatch or a towing company, please wear your uniform, t-shirts, sweatshirts or hats as to what you represent. Randy worked alongside so many of you on calls and scenes. We will honor Randy as best we can on his final call.
