“For I was HUNGRY
and you gave me food,
I was THIRSTY
and you gave me something to drink,
I was A STRANGER
and you welcomed me.”
MATTHEW 25:35

We love spreading good news! Did you know that the East Ky Dream Center receives regular inspections from the Pike Co Health Dept., just like local restaurants??

We’re so proud of our dining hall staff. Preparing meals and groceries, (while maintaining a spotless kitchen) for more than 1000 people weekly is hard work. Our small team of ladies do an excellent job!!

Thank you for your donations and support and thank you Pike Co Health Dept. For caring about our community.

We loved walking into our thrift store this morning and finding this hidden outside.
…and how true are these words, “Your story matters”.

It’s a great thing to be recognized for taking care of our community. It’s even better to partner with organizations committed to our mission. Thank you Double Kwik for your support and for giving back.

East Kentucky Dream Center is making a difference by meeting people right where they are and helping provide some of life’s most basic needs.

Through clothing, groceries, hygiene products, and other essential resources, the Dream Center offers practical support to individuals and families facing difficult times. But their work goes beyond meeting physical needs — it reminds people that they are seen, cared for, and supported by their community.

We are grateful for the compassion and heart behind the East Kentucky Dream Center and the hope they continue to bring to families throughout Eastern Kentucky.

Effective today (October 1), new income guidelines as part of the annual cost-of-living adjustment were put in place for SNAP recipients. If you have any questions, contact [email protected] or contact your local Kentucky Department for Community Based Services office.

Note: The dollar amount is not how much one receives per month, but is the new gross income levels based on 200% of the federal poverty level.
