📸 Last week, the Patton Leadership Institute traveled to Floyd County for their final program session before graduation!

Throughout the year, this incredible group of emerging leaders explored communities across Southeast Kentucky, learned from local businesses and organizations, and built connections that will help shape the future of our region. Their visit to Floyd County was no exception as they visited Appalachian Wireless and the Mountain Arts Center.

Next stop, graduation! 🎓

We look forward to recognizing the PLI Class of 2026 as they receive their certificates and walk across the stage at the Southeast Kentucky Chamber's Annual Awards Night on September 17.

💙✂️ Bluegrass Healing Partner INC

Last week, the Southeast Kentucky Chamber proudly celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Bluegrass Healing Partners with a fun filled afternoon!

Guests had the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the team, and learn more about the important behavioral and mental health services Bluegrass Healing Partners will provide for children and families throughout our region. Inflatables for the kids and Kona Ice served as the cherry-on-top of our day, making it a wonderful event for families and community members alike.

Located in the former Christ Central School building, Bluegrass Healing Partners offers day treatment services for children ages 4–12 and after-school programming for youth up to age 17. We are excited to see this space begin a new chapter serving the needs of Eastern Kentucky families.

Congratulations to the entire Bluegrass Healing Partners team on this exciting milestone. We are grateful for your investment in the health, well-being, and future of our community.

Today, the Southeast Kentucky Chamber was honored to celebrate a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Re-Opening for Mane Attraction in Downtown Pikeville as they welcomed Merle Norman Cosmetics to its new home!

Following the challenges of the 2025 flooding that impacted the former Coal Run location, it was wonderful to see Merle Norman reopen and continue serving our community. Guests had the opportunity to tour the space, learn about the new services now available, including manicures and pedicures and received complimentary Merle Norman samples.

We were proud to be joined by Chamber members, community leaders, local officials, and supporters as we celebrated this exciting new chapter for two beloved local businesses.

For 60 years, Double Kwik has been known for gas, convenient essentials, and its famous pizza rolls, but its impact runs far deeper.

What started as a small fuel operation has grown into a company supporting 40 communities and 850 employees across Eastern Kentucky.

A few years ago, they made a bold move to consolidate their headquarters to Whitesburg, purchasing a building from the county that had become a taxpayer burden.
