Dear Friends,
Our hope is in the Lord, because it flows to those who put
their faith and trust in Him with all of their heart. For; FAITH IS THE
SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF
THINGS NOT SEEN. ( HEBREWS 11:1 ) Thus the
more faith we have the more hope we will have as well.

We also gain hope and faith through reading the Scriptures,
for it is written; FOR WHATEVER THINGS WERE WRITTEN
BEFORE WERE WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING, THAT WE
THROUGH THE PATIENCE AND COMFORT OF THE
SCRIPTURES MIGHT HAVE HOPE. ( ROMANS 15:4 )

So if you are running a little low on hope right now, have
faith in your Heavenly Father and trust in Him with all of your
heart. For it is written; “BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS
IN THE LORD, AND WHOSE HOPE IS THE LORD.
( JEREMIAH 17:7 )

Now in closing Friends, it is my prayer that; THE PEACE OF GOD
WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD
YOUR HEART AND MIND THROUGH JESUS CHRIST,
now and always! Amen. ( PHILIPPIANS 4:7 )

Congratulations to all of our students who passed their rank advancement tests in front of Grandmaster Sin Thé last night. And an extra special congratulations to our newest black belt, Mostafa!

With the pandemic the BSCTC Karate Club has not been able to meet for training or any other activity. Once we can and this COVID issue is over we will resume our weekly meetings. I have seen many has liked this page and are viewing it and I wanted to update on something so you will not think we are not thinking about the club and the well being of our members and possible future members.

Come and join us for some great exercise and training in the way of the Shaolin. This King Fu is the greatest and we make it fun for everyone. If you are a student, faculty, or staff of BSCTC this is free and open to you. We meet Wednesdays at 4:45 in room N340 of the Pikeville Campus of BSCTC.

Karate Club had 8 participants today. We had a good opening workout and the students learned a few simple techniques. If you are a students of BSCTC come join us each Thursday at 4:30 in room N344 of the Pikeville Campus. Learn Shaolin-Do Kungfu, the ancient art of the Shaolin Monks. Keep Kicking!

Karate Club will begin meeting on Thursday August 24th at 4:30 PM in room N344 Pikeville Campus of BSCTC. We have ten or twelve signed up to attend. Come and join us if you are a student, faculty, or staff of Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Alumni are welcome if you were in the Karate Club while at Big Sandy.
