We had our first gathering since before pandemic times last month at Appcycled and it was incredible!! Huge thanks to everyone who joined us to read or listen. No one has EVER said we weren't a talented bunch 'round here. ☺️✨📓🖊

You've been on our minds for a while, and after poetry slams came up during a recent Pikeville Creative Community meeting, we decided it was time to breathe life back into Pikeville Poetry. Good things are coming and we all have so much to share with one another!

POETRY needed! And all other art forms, including song and dance!

Update: We have extended the submission deadline for the Just Imagine Art Show to March 20!

We're looking for all forms of artistic expression (song, poetry, dance, visual, etc.) that relates to transitioning our economy to a system that works for all of us. You can use the prompts we provide as guides, but most of all feel free to address the topics that speak to you! Some examples include food, racial justice, internet access, health care, climate, and housing.

Artist stipends are available, including stipends specifically reserved for Black and Indigenous artists
