Today is KY Gives Day, and the Pikeville Community Foundation Board Members are asking you to support the East Kentucky Health Occupation Scholarship Fund.

This scholarship was inspired by three physicians with deep Eastern Kentucky ties who wanted to give back to the communities that shaped them by creating scholarship opportunities for Eastern Kentucky students pursuing health-related degrees.

Your donation today helps invest in the next generation of healthcare professionals who can make a difference across our region.

Donate today at:
https://www.kygives.org/organizations/east-kentucky-health-occupation-scholarship

Together, we can support local students and strengthen healthcare in Eastern Kentucky.

During April’s Volunteer Month, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible individuals who serve on our Pikeville Community Foundation Board.
Their leadership, vision, and commitment help guide the mission and strengthen the communities we serve every single day. They give their time, share their expertise, and lead with purpose—and we are deeply grateful.
Because of Brad Slone, Helena Jackson, Kathy Atkins, Gerrie Clark, Nee Jackson, Paul Jones,
Rick Newsom, and Howard Roberts, meaningful change is not only possible—it’s happening in Pike County.
Thank you for your service and for believing in the power of community.

Our community is our home—and caring for it starts with the world around us. 🌎

This Earth Day, we’re reminded that small actions can lead to lasting change. From protecting our natural spaces to supporting sustainable initiatives, every effort helps build a healthier future for all.

At the Pikeville Community Foundation, we’re proud to partner with local organizations and neighbors who are working to preserve and strengthen the environment we share.

Join us in celebrating Earth Day by giving back to the place we call home. Pikeville Community Foundation, 243 Main Street,

From murals and quilts that tell our shared stories to classrooms where imagination takes shape, art helps us see the world—and each other—differently.

At Pikeville Community Foundation, we’re proud to support local artists, educators, and organizations who make our community more vibrant, inclusive, and inspired every day.
