Every community needs people committed to protecting it, and Preston Gray has chosen a path dedicated to just that.

A graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School, Preston has been recognized as an exceptional student and will continue his education at Johnston Community College, where he will study Fire Protection Technology. His dedication to learning and desire to pursue a career centered on public safety make him a wonderful representative of the values this scholarship was created to recognize.

Today we're proud to spotlight sisters Rosa and Ana Flores of Spring Creek High, recipients of the Trooper Nolan Sanders Foundation Scholarship.

Together, Rosa and Ana are taking the next step in their educational journey at Wayne Community College, where they will begin pursuing studies in Criminal Justice. Their shared commitment to a career of service speaks to the values of dedication, integrity, and community that this scholarship was created to support.

Through hard work and a commitment to her goals, Taneisha, a senior from Goldsboro High School, has earned an exciting opportunity to continue her education at Winston-Salem State University, where she plans to pursue a degree in Nursing.

Some opportunities are earned through talent, dedication, and a lot of hard work and Mylee Wiggs has certainly done just that.

A graduate of Southern Wayne High School, Mylee will continue her academic and athletic career at Sandhills Community College, where she has earned a volleyball scholarship and plans to pursue a degree in Nursing.

Whether on the field, in the classroom, or serving her community, Lilly Fulghum has consistently led by example throughout her time at North Duplin High School.

This fall, Lilly will attend UNC Charlotte to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice, the same field of study Trooper Nolan Sanders chose during his college years. Her dedication to leadership, mentorship, and service reflects many of the values that Nolan carried throughout his life.
