๐ŸŽ„โœจ Pikeville is STILL lighting it up! โœจ๐ŸŽ„
While our friends to the south in Mt. Olive and to the north in Fremont hit pause on their Christmas tree lightings this yearโ€ฆ Pikeville said, โ€œHold my hot chocolate!โ€ โ˜•๐Ÿ˜‰

Thatโ€™s right โ€” our Annual Pikeville Christmas Tree Lighting is ON, and we want ALL of Pikeville and Wayne County to come celebrate with us!

๐ŸŽถ Live Music
๐Ÿšš Food Trucks
โ˜• Hot Chocolate
๐Ÿ’ƒ Live performance by our own Desiree Autryโ€™s Dance Academy
๐ŸŽ… And yesโ€ฆ the big guy himself โ€” Santa โ€” will be here for visits and photos!

So grab your family, your friends, your neighbors (and maybe even someone from Mt. Olive and Fremont ๐Ÿ˜„) and come kick off the season with us, Pikeville-style!

So many deserving folks on our list of nominees for this year's Christmas Parade Grand Marshal but we could not think of a better group of young athletes that had an incredible season, broke records and took the Pikeville name through an undefeated regular season and then deep into the state playoffs with the schools first ever 5th round playoff game!

The Golden Falcons ended the season at 23-1 and Regional Final Runner Ups! โšฝ๐Ÿฅ‰

This year's 2025 Pikeville Christmas Parade Grand Marshal is the Charles B. Aycock Men's Soccer Team!

Come out and cheer on the Golden Falcons one more time at the parade on December 7th at 3pm!

Two weeks out from the Pikeville Christmas Parade so we wanted to make sure the community knows the parade route ๐Ÿš—๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿš“

The parade will start at Dee's Memorial Park at 3 pm and head down NW Railroad St turning onto W. Church St then N. Mill St then W. Vail St back onto NW Railroad St before turning onto W. Main St. The parade will travel through downtown turning onto N. Washington St then onto W. Church St and lastly N. Mill St.

Road closures will begin at 2 pm and the entire parade route will be closed by 2:30 pm with detours available. Residents within the parade route should be prepared for no vehicle traffic between the hours of 2 pm and 4 pm, aside from emergency vehicles.

Parking will be prohibited on W. Main St between N. Washington St and the railroad tracks as well as NW Railroad St between W. Main St and W. Vail St (yellow highlighted section)

We are also asking residents on the following streets to remove all vehicles from the roadway and curbing in front of their residence prior to 2:30 pm, Sunday, December 7th. This will ensure ample roadway for larger apparatuses such as fire trucks to navigate the residential sections.

For all of those coming to join us on Sunday and enjoy the parade we ask that you park in the designated parking zones on the attached map unless you have expressive consent from a resident or property owner to park elsewhere. ๐Ÿš™

Chairs and blankets will be permitted and seating is allowed on W. Main St and NW Railroad St utilizing the existing sidewalk and grass areas. ๐Ÿช‘

We remind patrons there is NO ALCOHOL permitted and pets must be on leashes ๐Ÿ•

A reminder that once the parade is complete make your way back to Dee's Memorial Park for the Tree Lighting Ceremony ๐ŸŽ„
